Signature Rule Change!

Because of some members using their signatures to link to questionable forums, sites, warez, etc, I've decided to remove URL linking from signatures.

I realise that this may be an unpopular decision for some people, but we can't please everyone, all the time, etc........

It would be a near impossible task for us to moderate all members signature URL linking, and I don't think it is really an important part of the forums role anyway.

Please remove any URL linking you may have within your signatures, as the rule will come into effect from 25th January.

This post is simply to advise of the rule change, giving you time to comply, because after the rule comes into effect you are likely to experience an error message if you have a URL link within your signature.
I am simply trying to minimise the likelihood of this!

Thanks for understanding that we must watch what type of sites we are linking to.
