View Full Version : Distinguish the Network Interface Card

Hello mate!
I have installed three NIC cards in my computer, one is Intel brand,two is 3Com,another is VIA. I used the BT3beta to bootup this pc. It can find out all these NIC card, eth0 eth1 eht2.
:confused:But how can i distinguish eth0 is belong to which NIC? Are there anyone can help me? Thanks a lot!

Look at the mac address's of each card and write them down ?
Then bring the interfaces up and match that with the mac address.
If you installed them what drivers do you use this will also help you.
Also you could try looking at lsusb or lspci for information on your cards ?
