Acer 4602 pcmcia, dlink dwl-g650 trouble

I cant get the pcmcia to start, when i run iwconfig it only lists lo and eth0. No wireless, i run BT3 under vm ware workstation 6. I`ve read and searched forums but with no luck. Can someone please tell me how to fix this.

I believe that VmWare will only detect wireless cards as long as they are connected through USB. As you have a pcmcia-card you therefore seem to be out of luck getting it to work in VmWare.
