I got this finnaly working on a usb key, with save changes.
I had been doing it all through vmware, due to lack of cd's, and not wanting to accidentally ruin this computer while I was at it.
Anyway, I can boot off my USB key in vmware fine, Using the USB key as the harddrive. But when I boot from my USB, At startup. Itll just hang after ive chosen the USB key to boot from. I know I CAN boot from USB, Because I could do it when I had just the normal usb live "cd" on it.
Just isnt booting with the save changes added.
Any ideas? If that made sense.

Did you:

A) Make the "changes=" edit for the syslinux configuration file?
B) Create the "changes" directory?

Yes, Did both of those.

EDIT::
Thats odd.
I just got up, Booted it up in VMWare using the USB Key as the harddrive again, Now im just getting a blank screen.

I decided to just start again from scratch. After a few more tries, I got it working.
I might later write a guide on it. With like, some errors they could get, and workarounds.

Thanks for the help :3
