Hi guys
it is possible to do a full install to an USB-Stick (4GB) and boot from the USB ?
i tried a few ways but i always get an error, when i want to boot it
(something wrong with the lilo config)

have you even tried the search function? There is a USB version (which is obviously intended for your purpose) and a Howto specifically for this version.
Moved out of How-tos as this is more like a How-not-to.

sry but i used the search funktion and i can't find how to FULL INSTALL to an USB, the howtos are all how to install the live version and live with changes.
my question is: is there a way to install BT3 to an USB-Stick like a HDD Install?

the "install" is not the problem but i cant start it with lilo.
i alway get an error while booting.

thxOf course you can do it (although the question "why would you looms large.) Merely follow the instructions for a standard HDD install.

the error was that lilo can't set root=/dev/sda1 or something like that
and i fixed it using grub :P
