Dear all,

i've confused about my Backtrack. since BT2 is release, i didn't sucessfully to instal this to my hardisk. but it doesn't matter. because i've running it from my virtual machine. and my new problem is my BT3 can't boot. it often hang at state isapnp : no device @ plug detect. i've searching from internet. and i've used cheat setting with acpi=off no hotplug. but it just made my monitor blank?.

this happen not only for backtrack. i've tried another Linux. such as Mandriva, Fedora, Knoppix, Ubuntu, Open Suse. and all varian of that distro. and it have same problem.

my spesification are :

processor : interl core 2 duo
RAM : SoDimm 2 Gb
Hardisk : Seagate SATA 160 G
DVD : Asus RW
Chipset : SIS
VGA : SIS

i wish i've got some explanation about my malfunction. because i've confused. what should i do next?;)

best regards,
