Hi :)
I have a problem with BT3 Live CD. On my desktop it boots perfect. But on my laptop (Acer Aspire 5520G) it doesn't works :(

It is strange because when i'm booting form CD-ROM and i choose anything from menu my screen become black. And after i push the shutdown button it looks normally and booting process stops on this line:

SERIAL: 8250/16550 DRIVER $Revision: 1.90 $ 4 PORTS, IRQ Sharing Enabled

I absolutely don't know what now so if you could help me i'll be very happy.

Thank you ;)

btw: I'm sorry for my english. I'm Czech ;)

Yes this happens to me too. It boots to the part where you chose what mode it goes into then after that the screen is just black.

I have a Toshiba A215 laptop and i tried both cd and usb boots and it doesn't work.

you know this happened on my gf's compaq (unknown model) laptop too... but on my sony vaio vgn fe770g it works fine... i wonder what's up with that.

on the compaq, it powers on - immediately black screen. nothing happens, nothing loads, just the hum of the fans and the spinning of the cd/dvd drive. wait wait wait... nothing. press keys.... nothing. combo keys (ctrl+alt+del, ctrl+c, etc), again nothing. now once i press the power button n hold it for a good second the bt loader screen comes up and stalls on loading something (can't remember... i'll try it again to post later). will NEVER budge past this point. evil.
