Greetings, I'm trying to create another user besides from Root since being logged in as root is a security hole in itself, nuff said. But whemever I try to create a new user I get this error message:
Creating new account...
chfn: Unknown user newuser
- Warning: an error occurred while setting finger information
passwd: Unknown user newuser
* WARNING: An error occured while setting the password for
this account. Please manually investigate this *
Any idea what the problem might be?
I'd also like to know how to delete users, I know you can do this "userdel -r usernamegoeshere" but that will only delete the it's home directory. I wanna delete a created account permanently :)
