hi jklslvch,

Do you have an HowTo for this?
I don't know how to do it.

Thanks in advance.

Assuming that this info is correct, as I have not tested it myself.

Download this (http://ftp.riken.go.jp/pub/Linux/slackware/slackware-current/slackware/kde/kdelibs-3.5.3-i486-1.tgz) to your root directory, and then type this into a console window.

installpkg kdelibs-3.5.3-i486-1.tgz

And reboot.

Hi Balding,

Thank you very much for your quick answer.
I've installed the package, without any problem (thanks for the informations).

Anyway for me, it doesn't solve the pdf problem, that I can not see some part of the text, depending of the pdf documents I'm reading.
With my windows pdf reader I can see all the text.

Does somebody has the same problem?

Thanks in advance,

Dani

Chances are, the PDF you want to view has some features that aren't supported in the software you're using. If you use Adobe Acrobat, it will probably view perfectly fine.

One of the drawbacks of using OSS.

Oh well, like I said assuming that info was correct, as I had not tested myself.

At least what I told you worked.

I looks like streaker is correct or that there is something else needs updating.

Hi Balding, Streaker,

Yes, the installation of the kdelibs 3.5.3 package, worked fine.
I'm guessing like Streaker, it's certainly because the pdf I'm trying to read is using some special features.

I will update, if I will have the same problem with others pdf.

Thanks for your help guys.
