antenna signal strenght of a Proxim 8470-WD adjustable?

Hi

is the antenna signal strenght of a Proxim 8470-WD (e.g. from withing the shell) adjustable ?
(for some special situations, I would like to be able to reduce the antenna signal strenght)?

Don't know exactly what you mean but, you could try using:

iwlist <iface> txpower

Which should list the available settings for your card to transmit.

Thank's a lot for the feedback! 'iwlist <iface> txpower' does really show the transmitting strength of my wlan-card :-)

Do I miss something, or is really not possible to change the transmitting strength?
