Problem capturing IVS

Hi
I am new and need you support.

I am using a Orinoco gold PCMCIA card. everytime i run run airodump-ng and specify channel it keeps on switching to all channels and shows all other networks aswell which are on other channels.

second thing is that i want to capture IVS for this i use aireplay-ng

when i write the command and the system shows its sending the packets but i donot receive any increase in IVS

i had no luck what so ever using Orinoco based cards on BT2 final. does the power in airodump say -1 all the time?
