Unkown physical layer type 0x322

Heh - helps to connect to a network before trying ettercap. DOH.

I'm using bt2final and rt73 (1.0.3.6).

When I run ettercap and choose my interface (from cmd or GUI) it dies with the following error:

ERROR : 9 Bad file descriptor
[ec_send.c:send_init:118]

libnet_init(LIBNET_LINK_ADV) failed: unknown physical layer type 0x322
---

this also happens if I try arpspoof I get:
---
unknown physical layer type 0x322.
---

I've tried from the liveCD and at the moment I've got it installed as its an oldish laptop so it's faster like this.

Any ideas?
