LILO at start up

Hello,

I've set up my laptop to boot xp and BT 2.0, which was working fine until today.
when i restarted my laptop i got L999 999 999 999 999 999 999 half way the screen and nothing happens...

does any body have any idea what went wrong?

try searching in this forum, i 've opened some threads :D

i had the same problem (without windows) and i must install bt2 beta and then over this, bt2 final, then boot up and do lilo -v

so i solved it ;D
dunno if u wanne try that ;D

will it work if i just re-install bt2.0 final over?

Simply install BT2F over your current BT2beta.
Use the video done by muts : http://backtrack.offensive-security.com in dual Boot

You shounldnt have any problem from there.

Ok, thanks for your reply...

i just re-installed V2F over and fixed it...i think that my MBR went bad when i fixed some windows partitions...

if you loose you lilo.conf you can always just start with a cd/dvd and copy your lilo to your partitions etc folder...then lilo -v at the console....
