WEP Cracking under ~1 min

Here's the link to the "Technische Universität Darmstadt".

They were able to crack WEP-secured Wlans within 1 minute using "aircrack".

yeah i tried that program before and got tons of compile errors, here i will try it a second time:

did you try to compile with backtrack?

Done with Ubuntu 6.06
I have used old cap files so don't know the minimum but
140 000 for cracking 128 WEP ( aircrack-ng needed 970 000 )
16 000 for 64 WEP
done within the seconds

NOT BAD NOT BAD!!!!! just compiled it and cracked the 64bit in 4 min flat. gonna try 128bit and try to improve on my 64bit time.

yeah i emailed th guy about my problem he said to just install libpcap dev tools, which i actually had.. So i apt-get install etherape, and a couple other libpcap tools found in synaptic, it works great. I put up an mpg video on my site of me breaking 128 bit WEP with only 50k IV's!!

128 bit in 74 secs(for all ), with :
chopchop + forge + arp amplification 3x.........AND cracking.........

my personal record a little more than a minute but with all processes done not just the cracking one.........

64 bit WEP...pre-filled in lines...from airmon-ng stop ath0..all the way to aircrack-ng -n 64 xploitz.cap.... (the ENTIRE PROCESS)

nice ...................... for a 64 bit key.......(nobody use 64 now, only wep crackers for their test or CAVEMAN APS.......)

i bet i can do better than 74 sec for 128 key, just need to batch svaas in an infinite loop and to log it .......

and i bet if i prefilled the lines like you, i will do it quicker than svaas
