Hi,

Should high power (200-400mW) and super sensitivity (up to -95dbm) really bother me a lot when choosing a new miniPCI card?
I know that high power is good for long links in places like quiet midow but I'll rather use it with Aircrack suite in my home or outside of it but this is big, noisy city with a lot of buildings and radio noise (microwave ovens, bluetooth, etc.). Will I really notice the difference (more APs in airodump with STABLE links, more IVs/s ) ?
About sensitivity I heard that in noisy areas people were even making sensitive cards less sensitive because they were receiving too much radio noise (they had longer link ability but it's quality was very bad).
So should I look for some high powered one or stick to buing ~100mW CM9 ?

I like my cm-9. For the use you describe, it should be fine. If you are comfortable taking apart a laptop, it's trivial to add a pigtail (http://www.demarctech.com/store/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/21_27/products_id/76) so you can use an external antenna.

You should be care careful buying high powered mini-pci cards. Some of them are not meant to be used in laptops. They generate too much heat and draw too much power. Some of the high powered cards are meant to be used in DIY routers and embedded systems. You should read the maker's docs, carefully, before buying. Notice I said maker's, not seller's. :D

Let us know what you end up getting and how well it works.

Well, I'm considering using it with my laptop and/or (mostly) my big PC via miniPCI to PCI adapter.
I know I shouldn't believe sellers too much ;) and also noticed some cards need +5V (sometimes its optional).
Could You write Your top and average IVs/s when using with Aircrack suite?
Mine best #/s was 196 but most of the time it was 50. Also RQ starts to variate between 30 and 90.
