I'v been searching for a patched hostap that will allow me to change my txpower. Does anyone have it for senao v1.7.4 that works.

Interesting for me too. Use the same card and come from xp (Linux newbie).
I used the 3e_010_Client_v2.03.00 instead of the senao client, which is possible to control the txpower. Its also possible to change it permanently (even channels) via PDA. I flashed my card with newwinupdate. Another nice tool is PrismTestUtil. For more info look at:
