passphrase from hex key!!! O.o

Hi, is it possible to convert from hex wep key to passphrase….ie: 9547394613 to password2…I got the key with aircrack and was wondering if I can extract the password from it

if you get the key...i don't understand why you want to do this...do you mean convert hex to ascii ? there is an option in aircrack for that i remember....it shows the ascii equivalent of the founded hex key....

Why he really wants to know how to do this is anyones guess...but his. But I smell something fishy....cause if he knows what his pass phrase is..he wouldn't be asking this question. :mad:

Roflll??? :D Omg take it easy guys, looks like you just found the perfect prey to unleash ur fury…, I know this is not the rite forum for these stuff ….I was just looking for a quick yes/no opinion inorder to continue looking or stop ……..and yes HOLMES i did crack my neighbors AP but its was to try the “PENETRATING OS” that you support!!!! and ofcource the 8 mb/s that im using rite now :P… Im sure ur aware that backtrack is a 2way weapon, and almost half the people in this forum use it for hacking material but u just attack honest people like me to show otherwise.

in addition to that im arab, live in Egypt (the pyramids country ) so a 3rd world country and ITS NOT CONSIDERED ILLEAGAL HERE (not a terrorist tho ^ ^) …..no laws prohibit… no awareness …. Kinda hackers paradise, actually some of people I know come from far countries for this stuff ex: use stolen cc… but this is not the point.

From penetration point of view…it is likely that the pass phrase is important password atleast router password so I think it is important to know if its vulnerable. And ofcourse to gain access to router and use p2p :P
