Trying to use the dsniff tools suite but am having a hard time capturing pws in plaintext and in secure (https) mode. I'm trying to pen test my home network because I have a few tutorials on how to prevent the exploitation of dsniff on networks, but am trying to see how vulnerable I actually am.

There is LITTLE documentation on this program (site has a bunch of broken links), so this is my last resort.

Anyone familiar with this (these) tool(s)?

Perhaps if you would explain what you've already done, we could help you with what you don't understand. In all the rambling in the above paragraph, you really don't say anything other than 'I don't understand'.

I want to first start capturing pws in plaintext. What command in dsniff will help me achieve this. If you find a "tutorial" or "guide of commands" out there in the big world wide web, please enlighten me. Because I've found nothing.

As for how far I've gotten, not far. It's a command-line program with little to NO help when you type --help so I don't even know where to begin.
