I was able to get Airpwn to work in BT1, but I am not able to in BT2. Has anyone gotten this to work?

Proxim Atheros card.

This is the commands i'm typing (they could be wrong)

Insert card
madwifi_prep.sh (it says Ath1) (I have also tried airmon-ng stop ath0, airmon-ng start wifi0)

Ifconfig ath1 down
iwconfig ath1 channel 6 essid TEST (i have an open router on channel 6 named TEST)
ifconfig ath1 up

airpwn -c conf/airpwned_img -d madwifi-ng -i ath1

I tried to install (or reinstall) lorcon, but after I did that, the madwifi-ng driver for option "-d" was not available anymore (almost looked like I downgraded, oops).

Does anyone have any idea? It doesn't give me any errors. it just says
"Listening for packets..."

Previous backtrack would say that, and then once you joined the network on another laptop and opened a webpage, it would show that it was sending packets.

(I have another laptop on the TEST router to be the "victim". Thanks for any help.

Same here. Tried 4 different (compatible) cards...Everything seems to be going fine until airpwn tries to reply....airpwn then exits-Segmentation fault.

The wep decryption seems to be working, everything seems to be working.

I have tried every possible variation/configuration possible but
when a match pattern is found and airpwn tries to reply I get a Segmentation fault. I RTFM, I read/watched every tutorial I could find, still no luck.

Has anyone got airpwn 1.3 to work?

spankdidly, did u try:
airpwn -c conf/airpwned_img -d madwifi-ng -i ath1 -v -v -v for verbos...

also I believe running madwifi_prep.sh is not needed as backtrack2 drivers are allready patched for injection. Please correct me if im wrong that my be my trouble.

Maybe -=Xploitz=- could make one of his X-cellent tuts on airpwn 1.3
