Hi there,

My girlfriend's dad has been having trouble connecting his new laptop to their network because he has lost the WPA key for his router along with the admin password for the router itself.

I have previously used the network but also have no idea what the WPA key was. I've used WZCook to recover the HEx string, just wondering if anyone knows how I can get the hex back to the original passphrase in plain text?

Regards.

Really dont think its possible. I think all routers have their own way of converting ascii to hex. So it will vary. Correct me if im wrong.

call your dad hotline.........

you have a reset to factory setting button usually ......

then admin pass of the router will be reseted........so try the defaults ones..........

no more help because it seems to me to be again a little BlackHat question............

no one will help you here i think ..........

What I want to know is how many wireless router users out there actually change there admin logins?

Waits for one of -=Xploitz=-'s humorous replies...
