ASUS eee PC 1000HE Mouse Pad Error

This is the only error I seem to be getting. The mouse pad driver does not seem to be installed.

This happened to me when i installed the iso straight to pendrive with unetbootin on to the eeepc701.

Then i reformatted and followed the manual installation the OffensiveSecurity blog.

What method did you use?

Same lol, i used unetbootin. I will try the "install.sh" method onto the usb drive. If that does not work, i will do everything manually.

Yes i would recommend this net-book. Once Backtrack 4 Final comes out, there shouldn't be anymore bugs for this computer (if anything, very few).

WELL IVE BEEN HAVING SOME TRUOBLE DECIDING BETWEEN THIS NETBOOK AND THE ACER ASPIRE ONE..SO IF ANYBODY WOULD LIKE TO GUIDE MY CREDIT CARD lol TOWARD ON OF THESE 2 MACHINES I WOULD APPREACIATE iT =)..IM GETTING ONE OF THESE 2 NETBOOKS ON FRIDAY =)..HELP ME DECIDE BY THURSDAY NIGHT =) ANYBODY?

I have one of these netbooks and I can give it nothing but high praise.

I have BT4 Pre-Final installed on the HDD and it works great, no issues, mousepad works great, well everything is just fab

The mousepad issue raised its head to me when I had BT4 Beta on the HDD but its gone now,

Hello all! I have installed BT4 pre-release on SD card on my Asus 1000HE and I'm very happy! All works fine (touch-pad also...). The only thing that I didn't know is that the old wireless card (chipset Atheros) has been replaced with a Ralink mini-pci card (it works fine but apparently doesn't support packet injection...). Bye

I've only had my EEEPC 1000HE 1 month and mine has the Atheros wifi card in it. How old is yours?

lol..wich one i was talkin about 2 netbooks..wich do u recomend?
