Registered for two reasons.

1: To thank you all for answering my two questions in a single thread.

2: To state in this thread that I have been using Unix systems for nearly two days, and I believe this is the place to be.

Mind you, I pay for my own Wifi, and i used to know basic... =)

If people didn't ask the basic questions, my searches would come up empty.

Yes, accessing the internet with a gui based connection manager is not all BT is used for. Think forensics investigation/s.
As such having things like an auto mounting file system and or accessing the internet could compromise an investigation.

I brelieved so too, I toughed it might have an exploit if its runned automatically than manually.

Same goes for Dhclient3, you must Manualy connect it (get a dhcp) rather than doing it by itself.
