Question boot splash resolution borked BT4 HDD

Hey all, sorry about this probably really noob question however;

Dual boot install of BT4PR, on an EEE 901 (Native res of 1024x600)

After watching the Dual boot install vid by muts I saw the mention of entering "fix-splash" to reestablish the splash screen. Anyway I did it and now on boot things are loading very funny. Im assuming that either its defaulting to something incorrect. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated,

sorry couldn't find an existing solution, and im hoping this is posted in the correct section.
-thanks
