Have not had a chance to install to my HDD yet, however, on the live CD at least, everything appears to be working great.

You never will need ndiswrapper to get that wireless chipset to work. It is already supported by linux drivers bcm43xx and b43. Sound chip should probably be handled by alsa but that probably depends on later versions of kernel
