Arrow BT4 pre final

I want to thank the developers of BT4 for a great job.
I just burned the DVD iso and it is running in my sony vaio SZ series 13.3" nVidia display.
It has recognized the wireless card. I had little trouble getting it to start but no major hassle.
The display has no distortion on faces (1200x786 I think). It plays video from yahoo, google (full screen) and other sources and with sound too.
Next is to make a USB flash with persistent changes.
Thks

honest question: what is remote-exploit.org's stance on this? BackTrack 4 Pre-Final | VirtualBoxImages.com

on one hand it sure seems damn handy, yet at the same time I can see it skew'ing your download/user #'s and your request not to torrent (one option on the site is their virtualbox BT4pf image torrent).

I ain't trying to provoke nothing here, truly asking for yr thoughts/comment - I found this tonight, looking to create a virtual image myself for use via external harddrive (with help).

I'm curious:

Why don't you want people using bittorent to distribute Backtrack? I wuda thought you'd love people to bittorrent it because it would lead to there being less load on your servers.

We like to keep track of downloads for various reasons. We cant really stop any one from torrenting or making vm images or anything like that but just remember how easy it is to embed a tiny backdoor or reverse shell in a linux distro. I bet 90 percent of the people who downloaded and installed bt4 didn't check the md5. Please try to only use official release. We are well aware of the server load and are prepared for it with each release. We have excellent people who offer mirrors and its going well.
