Acer Aspire 6530

Vmware: wud not load qtparted and some other programs, changes save fine. usb wifi dongle bust so cant try injection here yet.


USB stick: works fine, boots startX with no need for any xconf mods etc.
onboard wifi injection... not yet tested... but atheros based so shud be okay.

Sorry about the bump, but it was the only thread I could find about the Acer 6530 laptop so I thought I might as well post here instead of creating a new thread. Can anyone confirm if the laptop supports injection?

Hmmm .. can you plug in your earphones ??
if yes than it suports injection

About you wireless card i dont know, try posting your card (type,model etc..) or even better try searching it in the compatibility list of wifi cards that BT4 suports (asuming you are using BT4).

Earphones? What do you mean? :S

I did look on the wifi compatibility list, but I haven't been able to find what wifi card the laptop actually has, so I just thought I'd post. I haven't actually bought the laptop yet.
