title says it all, i know i can d/l the installer from nvidia and run it myself (in fact i had to so i could get pyrit/cpyrit running) but what's the point in BT4 having repos if the packages aren't getting updated to run with the latest kernel? and though i do sometimes install stuff from svn, source etc i try to stay as close to the repo as possible to avoid unessecary breakages

this is, of course, imho :)

How about releasing BT as a torrent or any P2P system?
Less server restrain and validation on downloded data whit hashes
And it would be one more valid reason for legal uses of P2P :))
Well for Ex me living in the middle of nowhere finland whit a crappy 1Mb down and 512Kb up i had to download BT4 pre final several times to get a correct MD5 on it not used to errors so i wasted a few CD-R before realising that. erhmm yeah my I-Net suxors so i did MD5 check=phail a few more downloads later still =phail then i gave it one last try and voila got it put it on usb stick and booted from sticky installed and Purrrfect :)
I hope ya listen because making it a torrent isnt so hard and if no one objects i,l do it
:)
P:S
(ugh i hate smiley faces and use em hmm)
