Very well, I will comment on it no longer. My original comment were aimed at the members, who had the original discussion, not at the moderators. Even then it was not personal.

prowl3r, interesting point of view. And I never got to say it, but I like your avatar. I don't dislike all off topic discussion, but I do remember having all kinds of quetsions and feeling that I would be concidered an idiot if I asked them.

That's a good point. While I do see some value in explaining why we may behave in the way we do, and being "on the record" about it somewhere (because it is something I used to wonder about myself - the seeming harshness of the "Google it" responses), I agree that we shouldn't be airing dirty laundry and don't want to do this.
