Default Unprotected Wifi + Limited Connectivity = MAC authentication ?

i was connected on a non-secured wireless network for a couple of weeks.... then suddently, when i try to connect, the internet isn't working and there is a message saying my internet has limited connectivity

The signal was always good and is still good, so it is not because i am too far away from the signal

How can i tell if it is because MAC authentication was set on the network ?

Yeah, right...

Seeing the replies from the members of this forum i was expecting a reply like this

It's because you assume all posts not saying "i have authorization to access the network" are peoples who want to steal internet connexion???

or is it because i am not allowed to ask a newbish question in a "newbie area" forum?

From your language in your fisrt post, you have obviously been leeching off of someone else's connection, which we do not support whatsoever.

What part of "the language used in my first post" tells you i am not testing the security of the network of my neightboor (which is my friend), WITH his authorisation ?

We even bet money on that

Can we talk about my problem now? Or you still don't believe me?

I thought it was a help forum, not a place where you get juged if your story is credible enough to get help...
