hello ,
I have a problem with getting my internet connections straightened out... i currently use ubuntu 9.04 and i'm able to get internet... but in bt4 i couldn't... details my network card belongs to the realtek highspeed 8100 family (sorry i dont know any thing more about it). i tried ifconfig ifconfig eth0 up but nothing ... i dont have a static ip by the way...please help... please excuse my lack of knowledge ....

Welcome to the forums.
