Yes, I had eight replacments.

But I guess my problem is not related to leetmode.

If I open a shell and type

showip

I get

-bash: /usr/bin/showip: cannot execute binary file

I never knew about the showip command before I read this thread, so maybe it was not working before I even tried leetmode, can someone try running showip in a shell and see if it works?

Default more leetmode basic stuff

if you prefer to run dark backgrounds leetmode is easy to see, but if you're like me and like to change things up with a light or mixed background then you're gonna need to changes things up a bit. run the kwrite techmon file, then do a replace text "255,255,255" (which basically means white to the computer) ---> "0,0,0" (which means black to the computer) also for even further customization you can use the color map in the kbar menu and grab the numerical values for colors from there then scroll through to the text color you want to replace and insert the text. you can also do the same with your fonts, replace "lucinda"--->"times", "cursor" or whatever you prefer (they are a few arials thrown around in there so search for that too. and REMEMBER to close leetmode before editing the kwrite file, then save and restart leetmode.
peace

This was the first thing I did after installing BT2

At the moment, I am using my own gadget, because TechMon doesn't have all informations I also need.

I was trying to run leetmode from BT3, but I can't find it anywhere that I have looked. I ended up just sending it from my BT2 to my BT3, so I can run it.

I was wondering why they left it out of BT3? Is there a problem with leetmode, or is there a better tool that they did include? Is there a better way of getting it setup in BT3, then what I have done?

Left out?

Try running "locate karamba" and you will be shown where it now resides. I run it in BT3 and although things are different, it can be made to run just like it did in BT2.

Do you mean they have the Leetmode plugin in bt3 but just moved it, or that they moved where karamba/superkaramba reside? "locate karamba" just showed me where all of the binaries/png/docs are.

Not that I am always the most observant, but I didn't see anything that looked like leetmode/TecMon.

Well, it is running fine in my version of the BT3beta.

But now that I think about it, I might have added it to my version. In fact, looking at the LiveCD, superkaramba is there, but a quick search didn't show any themes.

You can copy your BT2 themes to BT3, just be sure to modify any script directory locations.

Default just download it

you could always just download it, it is a superkaramba theme so just go to the kdelookDOTorg website and search techmon, that would be alot easier
