Most Complete Card Driver Chipset List

This has a Ralink chipset...it has a lot of power and is 802.11n. What are its limitations in comparison to the Alfa AWUS036H in terms of compatibility with BackTrack, Aircrack, Kismet, Linux, VMware 6, etc???

I ve got a question - i got a build-in Atheros 5006 EG WLAN Card and i want to know wether it supports RFMON or not because i got Wireshark on my XP and i couldnt make it scan in promisciuos mode



I would be very greatful if i recieve and aswer to my question.

1.VGA driver chipset sis 672 series
2. Wifi driver Realtek Rtl 8187 B

1) Try using vesa mode, your driver is currently unsupported and you can verify it via google.
2) That requires mac80211 stack or wireless-compat2.6. In other words, without lots of effort, this device isn't well supported OTB. It requires kernel > 2.6.26

Seems like that card has Atheros AR2416 chipset.. google yields the use of ndiswrapper.. which means that it will only work for normal surfing with no other possibilities.. and next time make a new thread instead of asking your question here on the same thread.
