Hello once again everyone!

This time I'm bringing you a WPA/WPA2 cracking tutorial. In this tutorial I d/l the svn/trunk of aircrack-ng.


To do this, just type in...

svn co http://trac.aircrack-ng.org/svn/trunk/ aircrack-ng
cd aircrack-ng
make
make install


I did the format a little different than most of you are familiar with. Some people suggested that I should use a text editor to type in the info I wanted to disclose with you. So I did. I like it better this way. So thanks for the suggestions TrialAndError and that other guy whos' name I cant remember right now.

I'm proud of this one. Its very easy to follow, and I go into even more detail than the others. So without any further delay....enjoy my WPA/WPA2 tutorial!! Be sure you read everything I wrote. Theres some very important tips that even the more seasoned WPA/WPA2 crackers overlook.

nice but really basic one, may you do one on airolib-ng & aircrack because you test a dict file, you don't talk about genpmk or database existence in 1.0 dev

after that it's a good basic tut...again...

your video quality is not really hq , screen is too small..and blurry
but i don't know xvidcap so i can't help you do it better....

Thanks for the constructive criticism Shaman, but what I meant by HQ was high quality as far as its content and instructional value. My comp is a slow dell and unfortunately...this video "quality" won't get much better until I get another laptop. So I'm gonna edit the misleading "HQ" out of my title right now. Thanks for the tip.

I will do a WPA/WPA2 crack with airolib-ng next week. Everyone look for it. Its coming soon.

i don' understand why the fact you got an old laptop give you bad screening quality...

some of air vids have been done with a celeron....and 512 ram....and its video hq.......

but im using wink....

I haven't a clue why my screen captures are not "High Quality". Maybe its some setting I'm not seeing. I'm so accustomed to using xvidcap and its ease of use now..lol But I MIGHT try wink....maybe....

Glad you liked it. More to come...soon. I think Cracking WPA/WPA2 with airolib-ng and sqlite databases will be next.

VERY NIIICE!!!! ... I was not aware that airodump let you know when it captured a WPA handshake... then again, I haven't resolved my damn driver issue on my usb!!! .... maybe one day I'll see it :| good work man... before you know it you're gonna be the Michael Mann of pen test tuts!

WHat USB you using?? Alfa?

BTW..No one directs and makes films better than Michael Mann...but I can try!!

Shaman, you lead me down the right road with the driver pb.....

I was FINALLY able to successfully capture the handshake and crack my key with the hourly tarball (rt73-CVS)... I might actually get to bed before the sunrises now that I've solved the problem!!!

he managed to do it with the right driver
