This is fairly odd... when I place the tap between my firewall and a switch, I get a considerable amount of packet loss; when it's hooked up behind the switch, in (between the switch and the connected PC), there isn't any noticeable packet loss.
Any ideas on why this is occurring? (I have both cards enslaved in promisc mode and bonded to bond0, running 100mb half duplex with no IP addressed, although I doubt this is a configuration issue as it works fine in any other spot on my LAN)

Nice tutorial pureh@te, and no; from what I can see your not a n00b. Hell, contributing is not the doing of a n00b
Well done.B|T will take over my life, it kind of already has, so many tools, so many tutorials and everyday someone on this forum finds out something new, even if it's a small modification to a known command or script/code. I spend about 5 hours a day on this forum, I do not take everything in as I do not have photographic memory and I read about 40 threads a day even if I dont post...what Im getting to is that BT is beautiful and every tutorial is appreciated. [wow, I just ranted ]Peace |
