Default NetStumbler Useability?

is Netstmbler 0.4.0 a useful tool? I see it hasn't been updated since 2004!
I downloaded it only to see that it does not recognize my Realtek RTL 8191SE PCI-E NIC.

Thanks,

Ray

Did you read the hardware support list? It was designed for Orinoco pcmcia cards.

If your after something similar try inSSIDer by Metageek. Sort of a netstumbler style scanner, which is more up to date with both OS and WiFi card support. Good if you live in the M$ world
